Yotel - Edinburgh, Scotland

A space that transports you through dreams.

Where architecture meets experience, YOTEL Edinburgh takes you on a sensory journey inspired by sleep and wakefulness. From lucid dreaming to deep rest, the design turns spaces into moments of total immersion and discovery.

As guests move through the hotel, the design unfolds like a dream, smoothly shifting from being wide awake to deep sleep. Each space reflects a different state of consciousness, pulling visitors deeper into the experience..

The reception area is all about energy, with bold contrasts and 3D digital mapping that sets the tone for what’s to come. The bar feels like a lucid dream, where interactive lighting and digital projections react to your movements, blurring the line between reality and imagination. The restaurant is like a cocoon, with soft tones and diffused lighting that bring a sense of calm and rest. The café is light and airy, perfect for some daydreaming or creativity, a space to linger between waking and imagining. The gym feels like sleepwalking—a dreamlike state of movement, balancing rhythm with a sense of detachment.
