Mikk Studio is a London-based, women-led interior design practice rooted in concept, spatial intelligence and narrative.
We create environments where architecture and experience converge, shaping how people move through and interact with space through flow, materiality and atmosphere.
Our work begins with understanding identity, context and spatial constraints, translating these conditions into a clear design concept that guides every decision. From interior architecture and lighting to furniture design and curated objects, each layer is developed as part of a cohesive spatial story.

Meet the Founder
Irem Frayman is the founder and creative director of Mikk Studio, leading projects across hospitality, retail and residential environments internationally.
A graduate of Pratt Institute, her career has intentionally spanned multiple sectors and disciplines. She has held roles at YOTEL, Perkins+Will, TP Bennett, Aedas and Rabih Hage, gaining experience across architecture, hospitality, commercial and residential environments.
Working within both large architectural practices and the operator side of hospitality has shaped her belief that strong design thinking should not be confined to a single sector. Her approach considers not only the design of a space but also how it functions, operates and evolves over time.
Her work focuses on translating identity into spatial experience, creating environments that feel intuitive, considered and memorable.

INTERIOR DESIGN DIRECTOR
With 19 years of experience across corporate, hotel, and residential design, Arjeta takes a holistic approach that fuses aesthetics, well-being, and sustainability. Also a milliner and yoga teacher, she brings a deep understanding of materials and their emotional and environmental impact to every project.

FURNITURE / PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR
With a background in interior design and an MBA, Darla brings deep expertise in sourcing and procurement. Having worked with leading furniture dealerships and top design studios, she curates timeless pieces that balance beauty and function. Her strategic, intuitive approach ensures seamless delivery and authentic, client-focused spaces.

LIGHTING DESIGNER
With over a decade of experience across residential, hospitality, commercial, and public realm projects, Martina works globally. Her background in visual arts, theatre lighting, and architectural lighting design informs a practice that blends creative sensitivity with technical expertise. She shapes atmospheres that respond to people, place, and materiality, while championing craftsmanship, independent makers, and thoughtful, sustainable design. -
Canan Batur
ART / CURATION DIRECTOR
Canan is an art consultant with a background in curating and a global network of artists and collectors. She designs art experiences that reflect each client’s unique vision, offering bespoke consultancy and thoughtful investment opportunities through meaningful, long-term relationships.
