Outside the Zone - Shoreditch, London, UK

A raw framework for street expression.

Outside The Zone is a contemporary gallery space in London designed to exhibit street artists within a raw, adaptable framework, where scaffolding becomes both structure and narrative.

Rather than redefining the space, the intervention is intentionally minimal. The existing architecture is left exposed, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the artwork.

A scaffolding system is introduced as the primary display structure, referencing the tools and environments in which street art is typically created. This approach translates the language of the street into a controlled interior setting, creating a tension between raw expression and spatial order.

The result is a gallery that does not compete with the work, but frames it. A space that feels temporary, adaptable and direct, allowing each piece to hold its own presence.
